Are Digital Billboards The Newest Defense For Snow Emergencies?

In Minneapolis, they certainly are.

Clear Channel Outdoor has partnered with the city of Minneapolis to help fight against injuries in snow emergencies.

The city already has numerous prevention methods in place, including radio and phone alerts, but they are now adding digital billboards to their tool-belt.

The digital billboards will produce up to date road conditions to warn drivers of unsafe circumstances.

This is yet another example of digital billboards helping local communities by providing up to date information.

These billboards are also frequently used to help solve kidnapping cases.

Obviously, there are more uses for these billboards than just advertising.  In fact, in the previous two examples, they have positively and profoundly affected peoples‘ lives.
