What is the Digital Signage Association?

The Digital Signage Association, also known as the Digital Screen Media Association, is an organization that was formed in 2007 to become “the voice of the digital signage industry.”  It’s goal is to “advance the growth and excellence of the global digital signage, interactive kiosk and mobile community through advocacy, education, and networking.”

Who are DSA’s members?

-Manufacturers and Retailers – The manufacturers and retailers of digital signage hardware and software.
-Advertisers –
Users and deployers of digital signage campaigns in all markets are invited to the DSA.
-Network Owners –
Digital signage network owners are invited to join as well.

What are the objectives of the DSA?

The main objective of the DSA is to provide a unified voice for the digital signage industry.  By unifying under one organization, the digital signage industry will be able to expand and grow to new levels.  DSA outlines its objectives as follows:

-To be the unified voice of the members for the betterment of the industry
-To promote effective uses of digital screen media solutions
-To increase public acceptance of digital screen media solutions
-To educate members and the industry at large
-To help user/deployers find solutions to their problems and improve ROI
-To create market awareness of vendor members and provide them with business opportunities, contacts and resources
-To help members operate their businesses more profitably with growth and diminished risk and cost
